way down yonder on the chattahoochee...

So I actually enjoyed camping this past weekend (well, as much as you can). The part I hated most was actually getting to the campsite. I didn't think we were ever going to make it back to civilization. However, on the way to the campsite, Chris and I saw what I would describe as the most incredible mullet I've ever seen...on a four wheeler...the mullet was worse than Joe Dirt...

I went on this trip as a chaperone for a high school band. They were such good kids- nice and polite, which was a relief. The kids actually brought a tent for me to have by myself, but once it got dark- I was NOT going to sleep by myself, so I actually slept in a tent with 3 other high school girls from Newnan. Sleeping in a tent wasn't so bad, it was the humidity and the fact that there was no wind that killed me. I woke up and girls were laughing at me because I looked so bad. My hair was all over the place and I think I smelled pretty bad too.

While we were sleeping, this woman came through the campsite asking us if we knew where campsite 7 was because someone was in labor. So Crissy (the other chaperone), told them where to look and they kept driving around yelling "Robin!" until they obviously found her and drove away. So that was a major joke of the trip. Everytime a car drove by, I just yelled "Robin!" at it! :-)

I would really like to go camping again; however, if I could be at a place where I could shower, I think I would like it more...so I guess that's not really camping is it?!?! :-)
