and it was my 27th birthday. Now, I'm not usually one who celebrates a birthday week or month, but this year was different.
It started on Sunday, Nov. 2nd at the golf course. The guys got me a birthday cake and the Varsity to celebrate...I must say, for 4 men to organize a surprise cake (I kinda demanded the Varsity) is a big deal.
Then, Monday, Nov. 3rd, some friends and I went to Frontera for dinner and drinks since we didn't have school on Tuesday and the next thing I know, our waiter is shoving the hat on my head and they are all singing happy birthday to me. Another big surprise!
We all know how I feel about November 4th, so I won't go there... :-)
Then on Thursday, Nov. 6th, I had about 30 of my closest friends out for dinner at O'Charley's. It was so much fun and I'm so so blessed to have so many friends and my friends from "the city" come out to the sticks to help me celebrate.
On my actual birthday, Sarah and I went out for breakfast at Cracker Barrel and then I headed to Nashville to spend the weekend with Mags. We shopped and ate at the Rainforest Cafe and of course, walked through the Opry hotel (which for those of you who don't know...it's my dream to get married there around Christmas...it's just so unbelieveable with all the lights) to look at the lights they had up.
On Saturday, Maggie and I went shopping again and then we hit the town up style...the rest of that story stays in NashVegas!!!!! :-) hee hee hee hee hee
Thanks to everyone for the best birthday ever. While 27 makes me panic a little, I actually like where I am in life and know that each year will only get better.
