I know that no one will probably check this, but that's ok. It will feel good to get some things out.
My parents sold the house in Alliance. It is so hard to believe that I will never sleep their again. I'll never complain about how loud the dehumidifier is or how loud dad has the TV or how small my bed is. No more parties in the backyard. No more walks in the neighborhood. No more seeing the neighbors I have known forever. No more Heggy's or Grinders. And sadly, no more Thanksgivings Eves with my favorite friends at the Hood.
But, there are many good things too. My parents will be 4 hours away and in a neighborhood where we can walk. They are 11 miles from the beach. No more plane tickets every holiday. I can come and go as I please.
But there is just something so special about the house you grew up in. I will miss going home.

You're on my list so ofcourse someone's still reading! That's really sad Krysti!! :-( But also really exciting that your parents are closer to you! I hope all is still going well in ATL! Does this mean you won't be back up to OH anytime soon??
It would be so weird if my parents sold their house. It will feel like your home is gone!
