I'd like to thank the academy

So, I'm watching the Oscars right now and I'm reminded about how much I love acting. I'm pretty sure I've had my acceptance speech ready since about the 3rd grade. LOL. It's changed over the years and probably still would. Here it goes.

First and foremost, I'd like to thank God for giving me limitless possibilities to do great things in my life. Thanks to all my wonderful teachers, especially Miss Narduzzi and Madame Barnes for inspiring me in the littlest ways possible. To my best friend, Maggie, who saved my hair in the 1st grade and my sanity throughout my ups and downs. To my high school group, Mags, Jess, Helen, Chris, Ant Dogg, and Randy- thanks for making every minute memorable, even as much as I didn't like high school. I'd like to thank my Zeta sisters for bringing me out of my shell and turning me into the leader I am today. My Sharky friends, thank you thank you thank you for keeping me from going off the deep end when it feels like I'm a terrible teacher! Lastly, to my family- mom, dad, and Kari. People are told they can't pick their family, but I wouldn't want anyone else. Much love. Oh, and thanks to the Academy.

An acceptance speech really does say what is important in a person's life. And almost every year, I see people forget to thank God and their family. What in the world is wrong with these people? I'm thankful that I'll never have to thank the academy or have my priorities so mixed up that I would forget to thank those who are TRULY important.

So- try writing a speech of your own. It's my challenge to you.

Thank you and Good night :-)

very cool speech. I wonder what I'd say. I just might have to think on that!
