Kari's visit

Kari came to visit me almost 2 weeks ago for a few days. While she was here, we had a fun dinner at Frontera with friends and we went up to Helen, GA for a weekend in the mountains. We had SO much fun up there. It's a cute little town that reminds me of Pigeon Forge/Gatlinburg, TN. We hiked 6 miles, which nearly killed me, at the Raven Cliff Falls. Beautiful scenery and it wasn't til we got really sweaty that the bugs came out.

We also tubed the hooch, which is really shallow because of the drought. When you go tubing, please remember to buy water shoes and sticks to push yourself off the rocks. We only bought shoes, so we were getting very frustrated getting hung up on the rocks. It took us nearly 3 hours to get down the river, but it was still pretty fun! There was actually a tree along the way where people stuck there gum- very cool and yet incredibly disgusting at the same time.

We had so much fun doing karoake and the next day, people actually remembered our rendition of "Before He Cheats" by Carrie Underwood. It was kinda like the Benny and the Jets part of 27 Dresses.
